Veterans Day Tribute: Giving thanks to our Vets and their families

Please take a couple of minutes today to remember those who have fought for our freedom and sacrificed so much!

Today (and always) I especially remember my grandfather, affectionately called "NONO" (Italian for grandfather) an immigrant from Italy who joined our armed forces.

Nono lived to be 100 years young! And before he passed, he was celebrated as the oldest living WW1 Vet in the State of Vermont.

Love, miss & remembering your heartfelt stories and the great love you shared for your fellow troops and our country, on this Veteran's day!

To our vets, our troops still fighting & their families...Thank you! ,

Thank you Denise for the moving tribute to our unsung heroes. Interestingly, before Iraq and Afghanistan, most of us would relate to vet day by thinking of our "elderly" war heroes. Today our vets turn out to be young kids. I hope people will realize that these kids never chose to go to war and no matter what side of the war anyone is on, they deserve our thanks and support for their courage and sacrifice. I hope they see this.
